2023 Action for Animals: The 1000 burpee challenge
14 years ago I adopted my best friend, Frost, from the Regina Humane Society. Unfortunately last year Frost passed away but I wanted to do something to honor his memory and to give back in hopes it helps others find their best friend.
So want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit the Regina Humane Society, and to help do that I will once again be committing myself to complete 1000 burpees on June 10th to raise money for the Regina Humane Society. But there is a twist this year, last time we raised just over $1,200 so this year I'm thinking we can go further. For every $1000 raised, I'll add on another 100 burpees. So if we can hit $2000 I'll do 1200 burpees and so on.
Additionally this year my friends at Opex Regina have offered to host the event so join us on June 10th at 2pm for coffee, treats, and an action-packed afternoon of burpees. I'd also welcome some help so if you'd like to join my team and help with some burpees I will gladly accept the support! The event will be live-streamed on Facebook and Instagram.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me.
